On the 10th of June, 2022, the final concert of the 63rd Tadeusz Baird Composers’ Competition, after which the Jury selected two winners and awarded two distinctions!
The jury was composed of: Agata Zubel (chair), Krzysztof Baculewski, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz, Jadwiga Rappé and Wojciech Ziemowit Zych.
After listening to the concert, the Jury decided:
Tadeusz Baird Main Prize was divided as follows:
- First prize for the piece Hidden monologues by Hubert Gabriel Żmudzki
- Third prize for the piece 16087 by Przemysław Pacek.
The second prize was not awarded.
Distinctions were awarded for the works SHAKESPEARE-MONOLOGUES by Bartosz Witkowski and Praise by Michał Dorman.
The award ceremony will take place during the 65th ‘Warsaw Autumn’ International Festival of Contemporary Music.
