Chamber music meetings with recognized artists on September 24 - October 4, 2022 in locations with an interesting historical past. Vadim Brodski, Marcin Masecki, Emanuel Salvador, Adam Kośmieja, Cracow Duo - an excellent set of performers, guaranteeing five musical evenings in exceptional company during the 5th Festival Music at the Blumwe Villa.
The concerts will be rebroadcasted in the PIK Polish Radio.
On the 24th of September, Vadim Brodski will inaugurate the Festival in the Copernicanum hall. He will be accompanied by the pianist Bartłomiej Wezner.
Marcin Masecki and Michał Szałach will perform at the final of the Festival. The world of Johann Sebastian Bach and John Adams - known as the maximalist minimalist - will collide with each other. We will also dance Masecki's Polonaises.
On the 7th of September in the J. Przybora Concert Studio of the Polish Radio PiK the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra together with the pianist Rolando Rolim will perform works by Karol Szymanowski and the famous Quintet in E flat major by Robert Schumann. Co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the ‘Music’ programme, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
Admission to concerts at the Concert Studio of PiK Polish Radio is free, although tickets are required.
