On the 14th of November, 2022 NOSPR and the Philharmonic Foundation invite you at 20.00 to a concert on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Konstanty Andrzej Kulka. The violinist together with the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Jan Lewtak will present works by Henryk Wieniawski, Karol Lipiński and Polish film music. Danuta Kojro-Pawulska (harpsichord, piano), Magdalena Schabowska (soprano), Piotr Lis (oboe), Maria Lewicka (flute) and Grzegorz Wołczański (clarinet) will also perform at the concert.
In the first part of the concert, we will hear beautiful and majestic compositions for violin and chamber orchestra: Concert Polonaise in D major and Legend by Henryk Wieniawski, virtuoso works by Karol Lipiński - the favorite works of Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, an outstanding Polish violinist.
In the second part of the concert, the artists will invite the audience to the world of beautiful Polish film music by Jerzy Matuszkiewicz, Waldemar Kazanecki, Wojciech Kilar and Michał Lorenc. Jan Lewtak is the auhor of all transcriptions of works for soloists and chamber orchestra. The concert will be hosted by a radio journalist - Paweł Sztompke.
