The Department of Composition, Music Theory and Sound Engineering and the Faculty of Music Theory and Composition of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz invites you to the International Conference 'Music towards Values', which will take place at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz on November 22-24, 2022.
Theoretical reflection of the conference with the participation of members of the Polish Composers' Union will concern:
- The constitutive values for a given direction, trend, music style and their impact on music creativity;
- foundations of composers' creative aesthetics;
- artistic and aesthetic values coexisting in a musical work;
- sound concretization of a musical work referring to ethical, metaphysical and religious experiences;
- implicit axiological criteria for scientific descriptions/ interpretations of music works;
- values adopted by music critics as criteria for judgments about a work of music.
