composer, conductor, music producer (working under the pseudonym JIMEK); b. 30 April 1987 in Szczecin. He started his musical education at the age of 6. He studied violin, percussion, trumpet, and piano. Having graduated from the St. Paul’s British International School in Warsaw and European International School, he went on to study at the University of California Los Angeles (Film Scoring, Orchestration) and the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (MA in composition).
He has been writing music for feature films for many years (e.g. 1920 Battle of Warsaw, Szatan z siódmej klasy (Satan from the Seventh Grade), Polisz Kicz Projekt, Station), TV series (e.g. Tancerze (Dancers) - seasons 2-3, TVP; Ranczo - seasons 1-4, TVP; Kosmici (Aliens) - Polsat), theatre productions (e.g. for Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw), music festivals and TV advertisements. He composed 30 symphonic and chamber works, and conducted concerts at the Silesian Philharmonic, Łódź Philharmonic, Lower Silesia Philharmonic and the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music.
In April 2012 won a competition for the best remix of Beyoncè's End of Time, beating off 3000 rivals. His remix is featured in the singer's album 4:The Remix. In 2014 he was commissioned to write two symphonic pieces which were premiered during the opening of the new building of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin. In November 2014 he released a single titled Prologue that precedes his debut album The Best Of.
