For its new recording project, the Warsaw Philharmonic, with its music and artistic director Andrzej Boreyko, invited the Polish cello virtuoso Marcin Zdunik. On Polish Music for Cello and Orchestra the artists present four compositions: Aleksander Tansman’s Fantasy for cello and orchestra, Grażyna Bacewicz’s First Cello Concerto, Henryk Hubertus Jabłoński’s C-67 and Miłosz Magin’s Cello Concerto. Released in collaboration with CD Accord Music Edition, the album was produced by the outstanding Grammy-winning Polish specialists Andrzej Sasin and Aleksandra Nagórko. Recordings were made at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall on 2 and 4 June 2021 (Magin) and 1–3 September 2021 (Bacewicz, Jabłoński, Tansman).
