Pierwszy numer, zainicjowanego przez Sekcję Muzykologów Związku Kompozytorów Polskich oraz Instytut Muzykologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, anglojęzycznego pisma “Musicology Today” został zatytułowany Polish Musical Culture within the European Context. Treść zawartych w nim artykułów stanowią m.in. rozszerzone wersje referatów prezentowanych w ramach corocznych konferencji muzykologicznych Związku Kompozytorów Polskich.
