Warsaw | Romuald Twardowski In memoriam

On Sunday, the 9^th of June, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw a concert "Romuald Twardowski in memoriam" dedicated to the work of the composer who died in January this year will take place. Free entrance!

A special place in his composer’s activity is occupied by choral and sacred music, comprising approximately 300 works. Romuald Twardowski sat on the jury of many music competitions, including Varsovia Cantat and Cracovia Cantans. From 1983, he served as chairman of the jury of the prestigious international Orthodox Church Music Festival "Hajnówka".

The compositions of this outstanding composer will be recalled by the Choir of the Warsaw Archcathedral conducted by Dariusz Zimnicki and the organist Piotr Rachoń.
