“New IDEA of the piano? Young performers” was recorded in 1997-2000 in Frederic Chopin State Music School Complex in Warsaw in co-operation with Polish Radio S.A.. It contains six compositions by contemporary Polish composers, whose common feature is the presence of the piano as a leading instrument and an attempt to solve the problem of a new idea for piano music at the beginning of the 21st century. The performers are young musicians - members of the Frederic Chopin State Music Schools Orchestra in Warsaw - as well as well known artists, friends of the school.
