Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
For the fifth time, the "Eufonie" Festival will take us on a journey through the Central and Eastern European region. In 2023, the diverse repertoire refers to the main theme, which is folk traditions reflecting national identity, constituting an inexhaustible source of inspiration for creators. On 17-25 November Polish Composers’ Union, the National Center for Culture and the Ministry of Culture invite you to Warsaw to 14 concerts, including world premieres, unique projects combining music with film, jazz and even... a dance party!
"Eufonie" also includes inspiring meetings with distinguished figures and artistic individuals from the world of music. For 9 days on the festival stages at the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Royal Castle, the Palladium Theater, the Holy Trinity Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession, the Church of All Saints (Grzybowski Square) and the club Little Warsaw will feature approximately 700 artists from 12 countries (Estonia, Armenia, Slovenia, Poland, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Great Britain, Israel, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine), including 8 orchestras, 3 choirs, 9 conductors, 12 soloists We will hear music by composers from 15 countries (Finland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Italy, Romania, Canada, USA, Estonia, Armenia, Serbia, Great Britain).
This year's repertoire of "Eufonie" includes works interesting both for experienced music lovers as well as wider audience. Polish music has a special place in the programme of this year's festival.
