The concert of the Polish Chamber Choir directed by Jan Łukaszewski on January 24, 2016 in the Royal Castle in Warsaw will open a new concert cycle "1050 Years of Music".
By presenting the selection of compositions written by Polish composers over the last 1000 years, the artsits will refer to the anniversary of the Baptism of Poland. The programme includes works by Mikołaj Gomółka, Wacław z Szamotuł, Mikołaj Zieleński, Andrzej Hakenberger’s Baroque motets, and contemporary compositions by Augustyn Bloch, Paweł Łukaszewski and Krzysztof Penderecki.
