1050th Anniversary of Polish Christianity at the Warsaw Philharmonic
The concert presenting works by the most eminent Polish composers, organized on the occasion of 1050th anniversary of Poland’s baptism, will be held on April 1, 2016 at 7.30 pm at the Warsaw Philharmonic.
The programme includes Gaude Mater Polonia, Mass in D flat major for soloists, choir and organ by Stanisław Moniuszko, Totus Tuus by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Czego chcesz od nas Panie by Józef Świder, Agnus Dei by Krzysztof Penderecki, and Magnificat by Mikołaj Zieleński.
Performers: Warsaw Philharmonic Choir directed by Henryk Wojnarowski, Marta Boberska - soprano, Anna Lubańska - mezzosoprano, Rafał Bartmiński - tenor, Jarosław Bręk - bass/baritone, Andrzej Białko - organ, Agata Galik - harp.
