The 2nd Chamber and Organ Music Festival of the Kłodzko Region will take place on 1-9 September 2018.
The Chamber and Organ Music Festival of the Kłodzko Region is a series concerts of high artistic value, during which a wide range of classical and contemporary chamber and organ music repertoire will be presented. The concerts will take place during the first two weekends of September in the towns located in the Kłodzko Basin: Kudowa Zdrój, Wambierzyce, Lewin Kłodzki and Duszniki Zdrój.
The programme of the Festival will include masterpieces of Western European composers and works of Polish composers of the XX-XXI century. On September 2 at the Frederic Chopin Theatre in Duszniki Zdrój, during the "AsnykStories" concert PolishStories Duo (Agnieszka Wichłacz – soprano and Monika Woźniak – piano) will perform works by Stanisław Niewiadomski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Zygmunt Stojowski and Piotr Pawlik to words by Adam Asnyk. On September 8, as part of the celebration of the 800th anniversary of Wambierzyce, the Sanctuary in Wambierzyce will host a concert of organist Ryszard Superczyński, who will present, among others, Bogurodzica (Mother of God) prelude by Marian Sawa. The final concert will take place in the Saint Peter and Paul Church in Duszniki Zdrój, where Krystian Kleja will perform works of Fryderyk Chopin and Piotr Pawlik.
