55th Music Festival in Łańcut

2016 edition of the Music Festival in Łańcut will be held between 21st and 29th of May. It will be opened with The Haunted Manor by Stanisław Moniuszko performed by the Krakow Opera’s artists.

The programme includes concerts of classical music (piano recital performed by Kate Liu, Julian Rachlin’s performance with Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot, concerts given by "Amadeus" Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra with cellist Karolina Jaroszewska-Rajewska under Agnieszka Duczmal, Hungarian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra under Antal Barnas, Rzeszów Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with violinist Michael Barenboim under Case Scaglione) and jazz/pop music (performance of Anna Maria Jopek with Kroke and Elbląg Chamber Orchestra, Stanisława Celińska with Jánoška Ensemble), as well as theatre play entitled Double Solo performed by Jan Peszek.

The Festival events will be held in the Rzeszów Philhamonic, Łańcut Castle and an open-air venue – the Castle Park.

The ticket sale will start on February 23, 2016.
