70th Anniversary of the Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic

Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic in Olsztyn celebrates its 70th anniversary. The anniversary concerts, held under the honorary patronage of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, will take place between March 10 and 13, 2016.

The programme includes compositions by Fryderyk Chopin, Feliks Nowowiejski and young Polish artist Katarzyna Brochocka (whose work Constellatio Allenstenium, composed especially on this occasion, will be premiered on March 11 at the Special Gala) performed by laureates of the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition - Charles Richard-Hamelin and Kate Liu - with Warmia and Mazury Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Piotr Sułkowski.
