A good reason for music lovers to visit Warmia and Żuławy is the 7th edition of the "Music in Warmia and Żuławy" Festival, which will take place on 9-10 July 2020 in different Gothic churches of the region. Festival concerts will be performed by the Elbląg Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Michał Krężlewski.
The St. Bartholomew Church in Pasłęk and St. Nicholas Cathedral in Elbląg will be filled with music from different countries and periods. The programme will include, among others, Romance No. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Concerto for Two Violins in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach, Navarra, Op. 33 by Pablo Sarasate as well as Hombark Concerto by Sławomir Czarnecki. The musicians of the Elbląg orchestra will perform both together and as soloists.
Admission to all festival concerts, held in accordance with the directions of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, is free!
