2017 edition of the Festival of World Premieres, organized by the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra at its headquarters in Katowice, will be held on March 24-26.

The festival, held every 2 years since 2005, presents music by Polish contemporary composers. This year’s programme includes over 30 premiere performances of works by both leading and less experienced composers, which will be interpreted by such artists and Camerata Silesia, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra, Silesian Quartet, New Music Orchestra, Daniel Costello, Barbara Kinga Majewska, Alina Mleczko, Piotr Orzechowski, Geneviève Strosser, and Hannah Weisbach.
