The album Abyss and Caress, recorded in Austria by Klangforum Wien, introduces us to the work of an unjustly forgotten co-creator of American contemporary music in the second half of the 20th century.
The multi-faceted work of Polish-American composer Lucia Dlugoszewski (1925-2000) is experiencing a renaissance. In October 2023, the Col legno label published a double album with artist's works (WWE 2CD 20560). The first comprehensive sound portrait of Długoszewski was recorded by the Klangforum Wien ensemble. The project was implemented thanks to the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
