23rd edition of Audio Art Festival will be held in Cracow between 10th and 22nd of November 2015 in the Academy of Music, Academy of Fine Arts, Crioteca, Bunkier Sztuki Art Gallery, Goethe Institute, and Żarówka Café. The programme, presented by artists from all over the world, includes over 40 events – concerts, installations, performances, lectures, and workshops.
Audio Art is an experimental and postmodern art of the turn of the 21st century. It integrates sound and visual art, presented in a form of concerts, performances, and installations. Audio Art creates a new concept of sound source: as an object and musical instrument put in a certain space and time. Audio Art forms an "one-person-art" - a composer, designer and performer unify the whole process of art creation. The Festival also presents other non-audio art events extending the whole image of sound-based art.
Audio Art is organized by the Muzyka Centrum Art Society in cooperation with the Academy of Music in Cracow and “Bunkier Sztuki” Contemporary Art Gallery. The artistic director is Prof. Marek Chołoniewski.
The Festival events are streamed live.
