Boulez vs. Messiaen - Demiurges of New Music

Compositions by Pierre Boulez and Olivier Messiaen will be performed on February 19, 2017 at 5.00 pm at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

The programme of the concert, supervised by Aldona Nawrocka, includes Douze Notations, Piano Sonata, Mémoriale (...explosante-fixe ... Originel ) for chamber ensemble and Dérive 1 for chamber ensemble by Pierre Boulez, and Quatuor pour la fin du temps for clarinet, violin, cello and piano by Olivier Messiaen.

Performers: Marcin Piotr Łopacki, Jakub Sokołowski - piano, quartet: Mateusz Rajkowski (clarinet), Miłosz Wieliński (violin), Zuzanna Filipek (cello) and Aruto Matsumoto (piano), chamber ensemble under the baton of Przemysław Zych.
