Chopin-Górecki Open Festiwal 2020: Mr. Chopin. Someone Loves You!

The online premiere of the multimedia composition Mr. Chopin. Someone Loves You! by Aldona Nawrocka and Andrzej Kopeć will take place on 14 July 2020 at 7:00 p.m. as part of the Chopin-Górecki Open Festival 2020 at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

The piece for voice, trumpet, piano and electronics, inspired by the work of Fryderyk Chopin whose 210th birth anniversary falls this year, is a result of the creative collaboration of composers Aldona Nawrocka and Andrzej Kopeć. In addition to strictly musical elements, including interactions with electronics, it also involves para-theatrical actions. The premiere will be performed by Agnieszka Tyrawska-Kopeć (soprano), Tomasz Woźniak (trumpet), Aldona Nawrocka (piano) and Andrzej Kopeć (electronics).
