The Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk announces a Composition Competition for a song to the words of Zbigniew Herbert.
The competition is intended for students of composition classes and graduates who graduated from the Faculty of Conducting, Composition and Music Theory at the Gdańsk Academy after the 30th of September, 2013. The subject of the competition is to compose a song to the words of Zbigniew Herbert. intended for solo soprano with piano accompaniment or solo baritone with piano accompaniment. The deadline for submitting scores is the 10th of January, 2024.
Duration of the composition: from 4 to 6 minutes.
