Cracow and Warsaw | 'Polish Music Scene': Sepia Ensemble
Sepia Ensemble discovers jewels of Polish contemporary music anew! To be heard at two concerts co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance: on the 20th of February 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Cracow Philharmonic and on the 22nd of February 2022 at 6.30 p.m. in the Warsaw Philharmonic.The concerts are part of the ‘Polish Music Scene’ programme financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The programme of the concert will consist of slightly forgotten but nevertheless extremely important milestones of the Polish music literature like Swinging Music of Kazimierz Serocki, a piece in which quite a specific group of instruments is used.
Witold Lutosławski’s Grave. Metamorphoses for cello and piano and Three miniatures for clarinet and piano of Krzysztof Penderecki will also be performed at the events.
