'Carols, Christmas songs and many more!' is the title of a charity concert that will be held on 6 January 2022 at 7.p.m at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
The orchestra composed of students of the Academy of Music in Katowice will present the arrangements of well-known carols as well as works by students of composition: Monika Kozakiewicz, Julia Mazur, Andrzej Mandryka and Maciej Seget. The programme will also include pieces by Vaughan Jones, Hubert Kowalski, Wiktor Lorens, Paweł Mazur, Piotr Pałka and Zbigniew Preisner.
The event is a great opportunity for the music academy students to raise money for the charity organisation "Wspólnota Burego Misia" whose aim is to help disabled people.
