Gdańsk | 2nd National Competition of Duets with Piano

Between the 11^th and 13^th of April 2022 at the Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, the 2^nd National Competition of Duets with Piano will take place, organized by the Accompaniment Department of the Academy.

The competition is aimed at secondary schools as well as students and graduates of universities in Poland. This is the third edition of this event.

The one-stage competition is conducted in two age categories. It gives the opportunity to present duets, the composition of which must include a pianist together with another instrumentalist (the participation of piano duets for four hands or two pianos is excluded) or a vocalist. The auditions are open to the public and at the end of the event the Winners' Concert for the winners of the first prizes will be held.

The competition will be held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the President of the City of Gdańsk Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, the President of the City of Gdynia Wojciech Szczurek and the Rector of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk Prof. Ryszard Minkiewicz. Yamaha Europe is the event's partner. The sponsorship was provided by ARPI Reklamy.
