Gdańsk | 9th International Festival of Contemporary Music "New Waves"

The programme of the 9^th International Festival of Contemporary Music "New Waves" presents a complex network of contemporary compositional tendencies. The festival, organized by the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Composers' Union, will take place from the 28^th of November to the 3^rd of December, 2023. Admission is free!

There will be music using traditional instruments and that using new media (electronics, multimedia), works presenting the idea of ​​absolute music and an idea that can be described as "new programmatic music", works constructed mathematically or based on improvisation.
