"Gdańsk Philharmonics for Independent" is the title of the concert inaugurating the new artistic season of Polish Baltic Philharmonic. The event will take place on September 28, 2018 at 7.00 p.m.
The Fryderyk Chopin Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra will be led by its artistic director George Tchitchinadze. As a soloist we will hear recognised violinist Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, who will perform Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 by Piotr Czajkowski. The programme will also include: Farewell to Homeland polonaise by Michała Kleofasa Ogiński, Episode pendant une Mascarade symphonic poem by Mieczysław Karłowicz and Polonia symphonic poem by Edward Elgar.
