GRaMuz at aMuz!

GraMuzOn 14-28 January 2021 the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk will present a series of online chamber concerts entitled "GRaMuz". The programme will include works by Artur Malawski and Władysław Żeleński.

"GRaMuz" is a series of online chamber concerts performed by students and teachers from all faculties of the Gdańsk Academy of Music, who present works they are currently working on. Premiere materials will be published on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. on the Academy's YouTube channel and will be available until the next event is published.

On 18 January students of the Chamber Music Department will perform Malageuna by Ernest Lecuona, Suite from the ballet Sleeping Beauty by Piotr Tchaikovsky arranged for piano duo by Sergei Rachmaninoff, String Quartet in C major, Op. 20 No. 2 by Joseph Haydn, Trio in D minor, Op. 49 by Felix Mendelssohn, Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34 by Johannes Brahms and the first movement of Piano Trio by Artur Malawski. The concert on 21 January entitled "Władysław Żeleński – Moniuszko's successor" will be performed by students of the solo singing class of prof. Jadwiga Rappé. We will hear songs and duets by Władysław Żeleński..
