On July 11-13, 2024, during the Heroines of Sound Festival in Berlin, compositions by electronic music creators, including Polish women, will be presented - diverse and crossing the boundaries of genres. Musicologist Monika Pasiecznik will be a speaker in the discussion panel on "Acoustic Poetry and Music".
The Polish ensemble Kompopolex will perform a new programme for the first time in Berlin on July 11, which will include Body X Ultra by Marta Śniady, Carbon is the new black by Monika Dalach, as well as compositions by Kelley Sheehan, Stellana Veloce, Sofie Meyer and Greeta Eacott. They uniquely explore the multi-faceted sound of electronics enriched with percussion instruments and voice.
The Heroines of Sound 2024 Festival is supported by the Capital Culture Fund and the Marianne Steegmann Foundation.
