March 8, International Women's Day, will be celebrated at the Silesian Philharmonic in an atmosphere of awe at the beauty of music. The Silesian Chamber Orchestra, together with Łukasz Szubski, has prepared a unique programme for this evening, filled entirely with works dedicated to ladies. Thus, we will hear the Bagatelle "For Eliza" and the most famous - the first - movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata, Robert Schumann's Dream, Johannes Brahms' Liebeslieder-Walzer, Frederic Chopin's Nocturne in C sharp minor, which he dedicated to his sister Ludwika, Antonín Dvořák's Two Waltzes, and Wojciech Kilar's music for the film Portrait of a Lady.
