Katowice | 'Masters of Musical Landscapes': extraordinary concert 'Bach-Kilar'

World-renowned violinists Krzysztof Jakowicz and Jakub Jakowicz together with Chamber Orchestra of the National Philharmonic and conductor Jan Lewtak will perform on the 7th of March 2022 at 8 p.m. at the NOSPR premises. The concert will be part of the 'Masters of Musical Landscapes' cycle.

The father and son will present famous violin compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach: Violin Concerto in A minor BWV 1041, Violin Concerto in E major BWV 1042 and Concerto for two violins in D minor BWV 1043.

The second part of the concert will take listeners to the world of film music transcribed by Jan Lewtak. The performers will be artists from the ‘Camerata Silesia’ and soloists: Adam Myrczek (bass), Maria Lewicka (flute), Danuta Kojro-Pawulska (piano), Piotr Lis (oboe) and Grzegorz Wołczański (clarinet). Radio journalist Paweł Sztompke will host the event.
