Katowice | Online premiere of Paweł Mykietyn's new work

The first performance of Paweł Mykietyn's latest work Chorale and Canon will take place on 10 July 2020 at 7.30 p.m. during an online concert from the "Polish Radio Choir – Music Dedications" series at the headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Although the official ending of the 2019/2020 concert season is behind us, online holiday concerts will be held at the NOSPR concert hall. On 10 July Polish Radio Choir conducted by Maria Piotrowska-Bogalecka together with musicians of the New Music Orchestra will present Paweł Szymański's Lux Aeterna for 24 singers and instruments, Arnold Schönberg's Friede auf Erden, Op. 13, Arvo Pärt's Da pacem Domine and Herbert Howells' Requiem. The ensemble will also perform for the first time Paweł Mykietyn's Chorale and Canon to words by Leyla Daryoush.
