On January 13, 2019 at 7 p.m., the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic will host a Christmas concert of "Polish Christmas Carols".

Carols are sung from December 24 to February 2. Thus, they were included in the organ evening programme of the renowned virtuoso and composer Henryk Jan Botor, lecturer at the Kraków Academy of Music. The Silesian Philharmonic Choir under the direction of Jarosław Wolanin, will present old and little-known Polish carols arranged by Botor. Organ improvisations will be also part of the performance.
