The last concert of choral music from the "Silesia a cappella" series will take place on August 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Church in Katowice (8 Mikusińskiego St.)
The leading idea of the series is to present choral works of outstanding Silesian artists in the context of world literature. This time, compositions of Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and the representative of the young generation Adrian Robak will be combined with works of the pioneer of the concerto style Lodovico Viadana and German baroque composers – Hans Leo Hassler and Johann Hermann Schein. The works will be presented by the vocal group Contento Core under the direction of Maria Piotrowska-Bogalecka. The concert will be hosted by Aleksandra Rudzka-Kurdyś.
