Katowice | Silesian Chamber Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Mering

The Silesian Chamber Orchestra will end the artistic season with a concert on the 14^th of June, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., presenting the breadth of the ensemble's repertoire conducted by Mikhail Mering - Laureate of the 11^th G. Fitelberg International Conductors' Competition. The guitarist and teacher, Prof. Łukasz Kuropaczewski will perform as a soloisti.

The programme includes works by Antonio Vivaldi, "Canzona di barocco" by the contemporary Polish composer Henryk Czyż, referring to the baroque era, an extremely interesting concert for guitar, string orchestra and percussion "Arioso e furioso" by Mikołaj Piotr Górecki and the famous "Waldstein Sonata" by Ludwig van Beethoven, which we will rediscover thanks to the orchestral arrangement.
