Kraków | "Kraków Philharmonic at Your Home" – Reed Trio
The Kraków Philharmonic Reed Trio will perform on 5 September 2020 at 6.00 p.m. in the "Kraków Philharmonic at Your Home" series, co-financed by the "Culture on the Web" programme of the National Centre for Culture.
The "Krakow Philharmonic at your home!" is an initiative aimed at maintaining the continuity of the cultural offer of the Kraków Philharmonic. The series includes 8 concerts that will take place from June to September. Each concert will be broadcat on the Kraków Philharmonic website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The Reed Trio of the Kraków Philharmonic is a wind instrument ensemble consisting of the leading musicians of the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra, who also pursue their individual musical ambitions as part of numerous activities of various musical nature: oboist Mariusz Pędziałek, clarinetist Jan Cielecki and bassoonist Wojciech Turek. The repertoire of the trio includes pieces written for this classical set of instruments well as compositions adapted to the needs of the ensemble. During the upcoming concert, we will hear Aleksander Tansman's Reed trio, Witold Lutosławski's Trio for oboe, clarinet and bassoon, and Libor Sima's 5 miniatures for oboe, clarinet and bassoon.
