Laureates of the 2021 Polityka's Passport awards

On the 18th of January 2022 names of the laureates of the Polityka’s Passport cultural awards for the most interesting achievements of the 2021 were announced. Composers Teonika Rożynek and Dominik Strycharski were awarded in the categories of ‘Classical Music’ and ‘Theater’ respectively.

Teonika Rożynek, the student of Prof. Krzysztof Baculewski, was appreciated for ‘her immense sound imagination and ability to move freely inbetween various musical spaces as well as for her independence, creativity, originality and for constant proving that borders in new music are meant to be crossed.’ Dominik Strycharski’s award was granted for 'creating, often live, music phonospheres that define the pulse and express the atmosphere of the theater performances but also come as their heroes and partners for actors and actresses.'
