Laureates of the 63rd Tadeusz Baird Composers' Competition

On the 10^th of June, 2022, the final concert of the 63rd Tadeusz Baird Composers’ Competition, after which the Jury selected two winners and awarded two distinctions!

The jury was composed of: Agata Zubel (chair), Krzysztof Baculewski, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz, Jadwiga Rappé and Wojciech Ziemowit Zych.

After listening to the concert, the Jury decided:

Tadeusz Baird Main Prize was divided as follows:

• First prize for the piece Hidden monologues by Hubert Gabriel Żmudzki
• Third prize for the piece 16087 by Przemysław Pacek.

The second prize was not awarded.

Distinctions were awarded for the works SHAKESPEARE-MONOLOGUES by Bartosz Witkowski and Praise by Michał Dorman.

The award ceremony will take place during the 65th ‘Warsaw Autumn’ International Festival of Contemporary Music.
