Marcin Stańczyk’s Aftersound for guitar will be performed on November 18, 2015 by a Danish artist Mikkel Anderson during the 28th Festival of Contemporary Music in Havana.
The composition was premiered on November 13, 2015 in the Miami University in Oxford.
The programme of the concert, dedicated to a Cuban guitarist Jesús Ortega, includes also works by Elliot Carter (USA), Armando Rodríguez Ruidíaz (Cuba/USA), Mercedes Zavala (Spain), Louis Aguirre (Cuba/Denmark), Li-Ying Wu (Taiwan/Denmark), Guido López-Gavilán and Hui Tak-Cheung (China), and Alfredo Diez Nieto y Jesús Ortega (Cuba).
