Mezzosoprano Anna Lubańska and Gorzów Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under Agnieszka Kreiner will perform compositions by Zygmunt Noskowski, Karol Szymanowski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski on February 10, 2017 at the Gorzów Philharmonic.
The evening will be devoted to music by three, great Polish composers living at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Its programme includes Etude in B-flat minor, Op. 4 No. 3 by Karol Szymanowski (arranged for orchestra by Grzegorz Fitelberg), 12 Songs to words by Catulle Mendès, Op. 22 by Ignacy Jan Paderewski (arr. by Maciej Żółtowski), and Symphony No. 1 in A major by Zygmunt Noskowski.
The concert is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage ("Philharmonic. Caution, it draws you in!" programme, implemented by the Institute of Music and Dance).
