On September 13-18, 2018, the Institute of Art Development and the Częstochowa Philharmonic invite you to a series of three exceptional historical concerts.
During the concerts, the head of the Częstochowa Documentation Center, dr Juliusz Sętowski, will present the history of Częstochowa temples and will show, among others, old photographs from the collections of the Częstochowa archive. It will familiarize the audience with unusual stories and draw it's attention to the details of architecture, which determine the uniqueness of the local churches.
In the three temples, which hide the souls of artists who created their beautiful interiors, the musical gems of Polish and European a cappella music will be performed by the Czestochowa Philharmonic Choir Collegium Cantorum under the direction of Janusz Siadlak. The reperoite will consist of works by Juliusz Łuciuk, Paweł Łukaszewski, Krzysztof Penderecki or Wojciech Widłak. Admission free.
