New Work by Agata Zubel - premiere

The world premiere of Agata Zubel’s orchestral work, In the Shade of an Unshed Tear, will be performer by the Seattle Symphony under Ludovic Morlot on October 27 and 29, 2016.

The piece was written earlier this year in response to a commission from the Seattle Symphony. The artist will appear also on October 28 as a soloist and composer at the Seattle Symphony’s late-night contemporary chamber music series. She will sing her own piece Chapter 13 and Chantefleurs et chantefables by Witold Lutosławski.
