On the last day of 2017 two New Year’s Eve concerts will be held at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic.
Everyone who wants to greet the New Year in the rhythm of well-known melodies is welcomed to the Polish Baltic Philharmonic on December 31. The programme will include works by such composers as Wojciech Kilar, Charles Gounod, Camille Saint-Saëns, Ludwig Minkus, Zakaria Paliaszwili and Jules Massenet. Bellet soloists Eduard Bablidze, Ana Kipshidze, Stella Walasik and Maksim Woitiul will also perform excerpts from Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Aram Chaczaturian and Leo Delibes ballets. The year 2018 will be celebreated to the rhytm of Wojciech Kilar’s Polonaise from the movie Pan Tadeusz. Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by George Tchitchinadze – one of the most popular Georgian artists who gained critical acclaim. A New Year’s Eve ball will start after the concerts, around 11 p.m., in the lobby of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic.
