Otwock | Rejoice, Mother of Poland!

This year's fifteenth season of the "Mazovia in the Crown" series, organized by the Mazovian Institute of Culture and partners from Mazovia, is associated with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. The third concert of the series, entitled "Rejoice, Mother of Poland!", will be held on May 24, 2018 at 700 pm in the hall of the K. Gałczyński High School in Otwock.

The Warsaw Intercollegiate Choir, under the baton of Borys Somerschaf, will perform sacred and secular songs by Polish composers. A musical journey through eight centuries of Polish music will begin in the Middle Ages and end in modern times. We will hear Bogurodzica, Gaude Mater Polonia, compositions of Stanisław Moniuszko, Feliks Nowowiejski and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
