Polish Chamber Choir under the direction of Jan Łukaszewski will perform poetry-inspired choral works on October 29, 2016 at the Artus Court in Gdańsk.
The programme includes compositions by Ēriks Ešenvalds, Ildebrando Pizzetti, Ernst Pepping, Eric Whitacre, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, David Wikander, Edward Pałłasz and Krzesimir Dębski, written to the words.by such authors as Sappho, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, William Shakespeare, Gustaf Fróding, Jan Kochanowski, Wisława Szymborska, and others.
