The Jubilee Festival of the Amadeus Orchestra, celebrating the 50th artistic season of the ensemble, will take place in October 2018 under the name "Half a century in the century".
On October 7, 14 and 21, there will be three concerts with the participation of world-renowned soloists such as Mischa Maisky, Daniel Hope and Makoto Ozone. During one of the concerts, organist Roman Perucki will perform. In addition, the concerts will be accompanied by an exhibition of paintings by Mariusz Kałdowski inspired by the music of Benjamin Britten.
The Amadeus Orchestra will be led by two conductors: Agnieszka Duczmal and Anna Duczmal-Mróz. The final concert, on October 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Adam Mickiewicz University Auditorium, will feature Variations sur un thème de Mozart by Piotr Moss, dedicated to the orchestra on the occasion of their jubilee. The final concert will be hosted by Krzysztof Materna.
