The Foundation of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań invites you to a series of summer meetings with music – the project "Summer Stage at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań" will run from 7 July to 11 August 2021.
Poznań musical meetings during the summer period have over twenty years of tradition – until 2012 the concert venue was the Poznań City Hall (the cycle was called "Summer Town Hall Concerts"), and from 2013 – the Stefan Stuligrosz Hall (the name was changed to "The Summer Stage at the Academy of Music"). This year's edition of the project has been planned in the new space that the University has gained to pursue its artistic plans – in the "Olimpia" Academic Music Theater.
Concerts performed by students, doctoral students and teachers will take place on the following Wednesdays: 7, 14, 21, 28 July and 4 and 11 August at 5.00 p.m. The programme of six different events includes works by Polish composers, among others, Fryderyk Chopin, Stanisław Moniuszko, Henryk Wieniawski, Mieczysław Karłowicz, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Karol Szymanowski, and Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska – a composer and lecturer at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Poznań.
Co-financed from the budget of the City of Poznań.
