On 6-30 September 2018, the 8th edition of the "The September Concert Poland" Festival will take place in Poznań.
The project started in 2002 in New York as a local event commemorating the victims of September's attacks. Gradually, its rank grew until it developed into a global festival. Its most important mission is to promote peace throughout the world.
In Poland, we will celebrate the 8th edition of the festival. It will feature various artistic events that will take place throughout September. All these events are free. Art will be presented in places where people meet – from parks, schools, churches, through cafes, restaurants, galleries and bookstores, to chamber and concert halls.
The programme of Poznań editions is getting richer from year to year. This year, music workshops for 5-6 year olds, performances and concerts of classical music are planned. The repertoire will include Polish music. The Poznań Chamber Choir Fermata and Coro Da Camera will present compositions by Zdzisław Bernat, Andrzej Hundziak, Andrzej Koszewski, Jan Krenz and Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz. The concert "Salon of Romantic Sounds" will feature Feliks Nowowiejski's works.
