On the 13^th of February, 2024, the results of the first stage of the 65^th Tadeusz Baird Young Composers' Competition were announced.

The jury composed of: Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil (chairman), Alicja Gronau, Rafał Kłoczko, Katarzyna Kwiecień-Długosz and Edward Sielicki, after reviewing the 17 works submitted to the Competition, selected the following works for the second stage:

Mazurkas of water, fire and earth (AIRDAR emblem)
Folk Story (MKBEWE emblem)
Ritorno (emblem X205)
Dawn (VOLEREEPOTERE emblem)
Gesture music (METHONE emblem)
