The author of the symphony, Stanisław Fiałkowski, comments on his work in the following words: "Symphony of light and titles of individual parts – Silence, Prayer for them, Hope – upwards, Scream, Poland – these are my emotions, standing 16 hours in a queue to give the last homage to the Presidential Couple – Maria and Lech Kaczyński. With the need of the heart, with every sound, every chord, I tried to reflect the drama of those days. "
The symphony will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Subcarpathian Philharmonic and the Choir of the Music Department of the University of Rzeszów under the direction of Łukasz Wódecki. Aleksandra Orłowska, Ewa Uryga and Tadeusz Szlenkier will perform as soloists.
